le Olivastre
le Olivastre was founded in 2014 on the initiative of three women who decided to reclaim a century-old olive grove, left untended, on the hills of Lake Trasimeno in Umbria. The idea quickly turned into a broader project: to reclaim unfarmed or untended land, protect and promote the agricultural landscape, give due value to the benefits of farm and food.
Since 2020 the Association has involved and been supported by this innovative project of micro, home and itinerant enterprise, to showcase the EVO oil of the Trasimeno area in the most diverse recipes: le Olivastre Cooking with olive oil.

A woman’s touch in the kitchen, love for the land and its seasonal products and a passion for olive oil are the three ingredients of our project.
We choose the best raw materials from the farms in the Trasimeno area and we use them to create simple, tasty and genuine dishes.
Where can you try our food?
You can follow us along our itinerant route ‘On the Road’: our website features the dates, places and menus. Or you can come to us at San Feliciano and pick up your pre-ordered rustic buns, biscuits, focaccia bread and everything else that we make at home and at our kitchen/shop. Lastly, we offer catering services with home delivery, also through the rental of our Truck for outdoor events.
